No, your skin tag should not grow back after it has been removed. Traditional methods of skin tag removal such as surgical excision or freezing the skin tag off can have a higher chance of regrowth. We use radio frequency ablation to remove skin tags because we want to eliminate any possibility of the skin tag growing back. In rare cases, there is a less than 1% chance of the skin tag growing back. Should this happen for any reason, we will provide you with a follow up appointment and quickly reassess the area.
